Questions Canberra asks first.

Straight answers on pricing, safety, termites, warranty and booking — the same honest information we give over the phone. Anything not covered here, just ask.

[01] Getting started

Before you book.

What areas do you service?

All of Canberra and the ACT, plus Queanbeyan and the surrounding NSW border suburbs — Belconnen, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Woden Valley, Inner North, Weston Creek, Molonglo Valley and more.

How quickly can you get someone out?

Same-week availability across the ACT for most jobs. If it's urgent, tell us when you call and we'll do what we can to bring the visit forward.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We're fully licensed, fully insured, and Termidor-accredited applicators for termite work.

Do you provide a written quote before starting work?

Always. We quote first and treat second — never the other way around. You'll know the price before anyone sets foot on the property.

[02] Safety & products

What's actually going on the property.

Is the treatment safe for kids and pets?

Yes. We use the lowest-toxicity product that gets the job done, and re-entry times are noted on every quote so you know exactly when it's safe to go back in.

Do I need to leave the house during treatment?

Usually no, but it depends on the treatment. Your technician will tell you the specific re-entry time for the product used on your job.

What products do you use?

Industry-standard, APVMA-registered products matched to the pest and property — including Termidor for termite work.

Do you use the same technician each visit?

Where possible, yes. Family-run means the person on your doorstep is often the same one who answered the phone — not a franchise dispatching whoever's free.

[03] Pricing & process

What to expect on the day.

How much does pest control cost in Canberra?

It depends on property size, the pest involved, and the level of pressure. Every job gets a written quote before work starts, so there are no surprises.

What happens during a visit?

Inspection, treatment, then a written report — every visit, every time. If anything needs following up, it's noted in the report with next steps.

Do I get a report after the visit?

Yes, always. It's part of how we work, not an add-on — a written record of what was found and what was done.

How long does a visit take?

A standard general pest visit usually runs an hour or two. Termite barrier work and larger commercial jobs take longer — your quote will give you a realistic window.

[04] Termites & warranty

Cover you can point to.

Do you offer a termite warranty?

Qualifying Termidor termite work carries a structural warranty, kept current with an annual monitoring visit and re-inspection.

How often should I get a termite inspection?

At least annually for most Canberra properties, and more often if the property has a known history of termite activity or conditions that attract them.

Do you do pre-purchase inspections?

Yes — AS 4349.3 timber pest inspections for property purchases, with a written report typically the same day.

What if termites are found during an inspection?

You'll get a written report with the findings and a quote for treatment — our Termidor-accredited team can move straight to a barrier treatment if you'd like to proceed.

[05] Specific pests

The ones people ask about most.

Are funnel-webs really in Canberra?

Yes. Sydney funnel-webs are established in the ACT, particularly around the Molonglo and Cotter corridors and suburbs backing onto nature reserves. Treat any confirmed burrow as a medical-grade spider — call a professional, don't attempt DIY.

Will pests come back after treatment?

Not within the guarantee window. Long-term, ongoing prevention — like an annual exterior treatment — keeps most species under control between visits.

Do you treat commercial properties?

Yes — offices, hospitality, retail, schools and strata, with audit-ready reporting on request.

What's the difference between general pest control and termite treatment?

General pest control covers everyday intruders — ants, spiders, cockroaches, rodents, wasps. Termite treatment is a separate, more involved programme built around barrier protection and structural warranty.

[06] Booking

Ready when you are.

How do I book a visit?

Call, send a message through our contact form, or book online directly. We'll come back with a written quote and the next available slot.

Do you offer emergency or same-day service?

We keep same-week availability across the ACT and prioritise urgent cases where we can — let us know when you call if it's time-sensitive.

Not every situation fits neatly into an FAQ. Tell us what's going on and we'll give you a straight answer — quote first, treat second.
